Fans still enjoying Mayweather's rain Associated Press GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Recently retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made it rain cash in Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Press reports Mayweather got on stage early Sunday during a Lil Jon show to accept a goblet from the rapper and tossed about $30,000 in $100 bills into the audience. Lil Jon told the crowd "It's official." The show at The Intersection was part of a three-day retirement celebration for Mayweather, who is from Grand Rapids. Boxing's pound-for-pound king abruptly retired last month at the peak of his athletic skill and earning power. | |||
